Hands to Work, Hearts to God is my public record of a year committed to exploring and photographing the change of seasons at the Canterbury Shaker Village, and the town of Canterbury, New Hampshire. As a passionate amateur landscape photographer, I am often shooting away from home, throughout northern New England, especially New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts and Maine. This year as an experiment in diving deeply into one location, I am committing to shooting the 600+ acres of The Canterbury Shaker Village and the surrounding township, Canterbury, NH at least twice monthly. Join me here for the changes witnessed in one year.
The photos in this first post were shot New Years Eve, New Years Day and the day after. It snowed every day, some blizzard conditions. My favorite weather! A good three-day blessing snow.
