Much of the last weeks' snow has blown away or melted showing remnants of the fall herb garden — a large patch of lamb's ear is still lively and as soft as ever. Saturday's sunset was warm and still. This short January thaw is almost over. Tonight brings new snow with 6 to 10 inches expected.
