Ice on Morrill Pond

Ally and I hiked out on Morrill Pond on President's Day. The moose and beaver are hiding, but the ice creatures are out in force.

Valentine's Day

To celebrate Valentine's Day my wife and I treated ourselves to a late brunch at The Shaker Table, the year-round restaurant at the Shaker Village. At 3pm we had it almost to ourselves. The food was delicious!

February 7

February 7 / 3-5:30 pm. / 20 degrees / 40 mph wind gusts. Febuary is here. After 2 weeks in Mexico coming back to New Hampshire was chilly. The snow pack that had built up was mostly washed away by hard rains leaving only dirt or boilerplate snow and ice. I'd planned to shoot sunset down by the ponds, but 40 mph winds kept knocking over my tripod. I ended up shooting the village hiding from the wind behind the buildings.
